Sam Tibbits

I grew up in Litchfield, MN, where my dad, Jason, was—and still is—a State Farm agent. That’s where my desire to become a business owner first began. In high school, I developed my competitive spirit while playing three sports. I went on to attend St. John’s University in Collegeville, MN, where I met my fiancée, Emma, and later graduated with a business degree.

Although I had always loved the idea of owning my own business and working for State Farm, I wanted to try something different first to be sure it was the right path for me. After graduation, I joined Graybar Electric in Minneapolis as an industrial representative. Working for a large corporation confirmed for me that my heart was in small business ownership.

In April 2022, I moved to Cambridge, MN, to work for Chuck Swenson’s State Farm agency. A few months later, when Chuck’s agency took over another office in Mora, MN, I transitioned there and worked for the next three years. In November 2024, I applied for the Princeton agency and was accepted, officially taking over on August 1, 2025. I was blessed to start with an amazing team, Nicole, Dallyce, and Max—who have been with me from day one and have played a huge role in shaping the culture and foundation of our agency.
