I grew up in Litchfield, watching my Dad, who is also a State Farm agent, love his job. I also attended college in Minnesota – at St. John’s University in Collegeville. Not only do State Farm’s values truly run in my blood, but growing up in this wonderful state has helped me to understand the concerns that my fellow Minnesotans have. Although I have always loved the idea of owning my own business and working for State Farm, I wanted to try something different first to be sure it was the right path for me. After graduation, I worked for an electric company as an industrial representative. Working for a large corporation confirmed for me that my heart was in small business ownership, where I can make a difference and find real connections with my customers.
